TITLE: Finance Floater
LOCATION: Yakama Nation Land Enterprise Administration Office
WAGE: DOQ; Full-Time/Regular
SUMMARY:
The Finance Floater is responsible for providing support to the operations of the Land Enterprise Finance department. This includes assisting with various accounting and reception duties such as: answering phones, taking payments, entering cash receipts, preparing bank deposits, processing manual accounts payable, and any other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION:
The YNLE Controller will supervise and provide a six-month annual performance evaluation.

Examples of Duties:
· Take general office payments.
· Enter monthly trust lease payments.
· Assist with answering phones, receiving mail, and answering front door as needed.
· Enter daily YN Networks sales into AccuFund.
· Enter daily Glenwood Station sales into AccuFund.
· Prepare and mail out accounts-payable checks as needed.
· Prepare YNLE invoices as needed.
· Enter journal entries as needed.
· Reconcile Glenwood Station inventory.
· Prepare daily bank deposits as needed.
· Assist with filing and keeping work documents organized.
· Prepare manual accounts payable.
· Deliver and retrieve documents for Administration/Finance.
· Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality due to the nature of the position.
· Skills operating a computer, 10-key, and various office equipment.
· Ability to demonstrate basic math skills and experience with Excel and Word.
· Proven ability to check own work to ensure accuracy.
· Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions and apply available guidelines to varied situations.
· Be committed to professional development in accounting.
· Ability to learn and operate software applications.
· Must be dependable and have the ability to stay on task and keep distractions to a minimum while at work.
· Must be able to work under pressure.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must have a minimum of a high school diploma with at least 2 years of post-high school education or experience in accounting. Experience must be relevant to the position described with the demonstrated ability to execute duties listed.
Must possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License with the ability to obtain a valid Yakama Tribal Driver’s Permit.
No felony convictions or disqualifying criminal histories.
Required to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test.
